
Anika Shirvaikar is a stage manager from Millburn, New Jersey, and has recently completed her BFA in Stage Management at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). With extensive experience spanning musicals, drama, dance, opera, music festivals, and film, she thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, bringing calm, clear leadership to every production.
Fascinated by the journey from rehearsal to performance, Anika values the collaborative process that transforms an idea into a fully realized production.She is particularly drawn to bridging connections between different types of venues and artistic disciplines, integrating her knowledge from theater, media production, and gender studies to create inclusive, efficient, and well-structured creative spaces.
Whether calling intricate opera cues, managing large-scale dance productions, or handling quick turnarounds at live music festivals, Anika adapts seamlessly to each unique challenge. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive, communicative rehearsal environment where every team member can perform at their best.
Beyond stage management, Anika recieved minors in Media Production and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, seeking ways to merge these perspectives into her work. She is passionate about storytelling in all its forms and strives to bring a thoughtful, interdisciplinary approach to every project she takes on.
